When using the shaver, there is no pulling and it offers a really close shave when shaping my beard. I have also used it on my stubble (day 5) and it still worked perfectly. In addition to this, the charging case is super handy and the battery life thus far has been good. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends.

The packaging is extremely well designed and very informative! The shaver itself is excellent, professional quality and looks like its built to last and with an average lifespan of 7 years I'm sure it will. My skin was left feeling silky-smooth after using it on my 7 day stubble or as I call it my game dev beard. The 5-in-1 Smart Care centre is top-notch and works wonders! It selects the appropriate cleaning program then cleans, dries, charges and lubricates the shaver, ready for your next use. This shaver is most definitely an upgrade from my last one and I look forward to the many years of shaving ahead, especially as I no longer have to manually clean the shaver after each use! It gives a super close shave no matter how long my stubble is. It looks stylish and feels great to hold. The precision trimmer flips up from the back and is easy to use, cutting accurately around tricky areas. I absolutely love the charging case it comes with. Not only does it store the razor and cleaning brush, it also tops up the charge on the razor so every time you get it back out it is ready for use. The smart care cleaning station works brilliantly. Simply put the razor in the dock, switch on the button and once the cycle is finished the razor is spotlessly cleaned and lubricated. The one fault, if you could call it that is that the cleaning station is very noisy while being used although that doesn’t affect the performance in any way. The razor was extremely gentle on my skin, it didn’t nick or pull hairs and left no irritation- this is important to me as the skin on my face can be sensitive. If you are looking for a high end, top quality razor then I would totally recommend this Braun.

The smart care dock is a combination of charging and a cleaning hub. It is an upright docking type of station that allows you to charge your shaver while at home and perform a cleaning program (there are several options available including shavers lubrication and drying). The power case is a real-life saver when on the go as not only does it safely store your shaver but also charges it for up to 6 weeks of use. It is fairly compact so you can easily take it on a short break or a longer vacation and forget about different plugs and connectors. Last but not least - the mighty shaver. OMG, I thought that nothing can surprise me anymore but I was so wrong. The result is impeccable and leaves your skin so soft as a newborn. Only thing I would like to have on an electric shaver is a moisture strip so it will reduce shaver burn. Other than that I have no complaints. It gave efficient and gentle close shave both using gel and whilst in the shower. I leave my facial hair anywhere from three to seven days so can be alot of work to achieve a soft, close shave, this shaver has achieved this. It is fully waterproof so makes life easier for me personally because I like to shave whilst showering. It comes in a well designed charge case, charging times are quick and can be charged for up to 6 weeks. There is also a precision switch that locks the shaver's head and enables you to easily trim tricky hair. Highly recommended

This one bucks the trend and falls into neither camp, it's in a whole new category and I will benchmark every other shaver I ever use against it (but hopefully I will never need to use another). It is as close to a wet shave as I think I'll ever get, it's easy to use, powerful and sharp. I can't imagine being without it now.
