To be honest I was very sceptical that product would work as hairs very dark and stubborn but worked amazingly! Is really easy and safe to use, it becomes with two different heads ideals to cover the hard to reach places (as behind your knee or the face ones). I can say that my facial hair dissappear from the first week and with the rest of my body was slightly more gradual. I spend 30 minutes per week to use it all around my body, I just love the product I am wondering why I did not purchase before!! Thank you Braun!

The Braun Silk Expert Pro 3 PL3132 is ergonomically designed making it really comfortable to hold and use. The device was lightweight, and relatively quiet in comparison to my epilator which was really good. The device was easy to turn on and off. I was pleased to see a manual razor and a bag for easy storage was included in the box. I was glad that the Pro 3 runs from a mains cord and that it's not a rechargeable device, due to it being a mains powered device it makes it easy and quicker to use the product and you don't have to worry about charging it up. I have been using the Pro 3 for a few weeks and I can already see a significant reduction in the amount of hairs growing on my face, arms, legs and bikini line. I found it really easy to manoeuvre the Pro 3 into the required positions on my body. To ensure I achieve the best results with the Pro 3, I shaved first, then I used it, and I had to reuse the device over and over during subsequent sessions to start seeing a gradual reduction in the strength and thickness of the hair. At first I used the gentle mode which is great for first time users and then as I got used to using the device, I then started to use the gliding mode which made my sessions much faster. There was not too much pain and I had no discomfort using the device. The areas I used the Pro 3 on feel really smooth and soft. Overall I am very impressed with the initial results and I will continue to use this device.

My first impressions; upon opening my parcel I was very pleased to see my Braun Pro 3 came with a storage/travel pouch, face/precision attachment and a Venus razor. The bag came in very handy as I was worried I would lose the face/precision attachment or have to keep the device in its box which would be a pain on holiday. The inclusion of a razor was very helpful when getting started and I thought it was a nice touch. It is a mains-powered (both UK and EU plugs) device as opposed to rechargeable - which keeps costs down and also helps the device itself to be smaller and lighter in weight than some of the rechargeable ones I’ve come across in the past and I don't need to remember to charge it, which when looking after two toddlers is highly likely. It’s comfortable to hold in the hand, and it is easy enough to navigate the body and manoeuvre. I found the App; which could be used with your phone or tablet is really just there to keep track of when you’ve done a treatment and to remind you when to do more, was nothing more than a calendar which you could just make entries and reminders. I personally epilate and shave so this was my first time using such a product and I thought it would be painless so was a little shocked when doing my 48 hour tester to experience a warming, tingle, like hot pins when you fire the pulse of light. It really isn't bad and after a few goes you do get used to it, just wanted to raise awareness so others don't go into this expecting it will be totally pain-free. I knew I wouldn't suddenly going to be hair-free overnight, but I didn't expect such a lengthy process. You need to shave first, then use it, and expect to re-use the device over-and-over during subsequent sessions to start seeing a gradual reduction in the strength and thickness of the hair. In order to see results you will have to be strict and thorough, although I'm sure once you start seeing a result you'll be able to use the device less and less. Personally after using the device for 6 weeks I am slowly seeing a slowing in my leg hair growth, I have not noticed any difference in my arm pit hair but understandably the hair is thicker and darker there. I will maintain the routine I have currently got myself in, I can understand that the process may seem lengthy but after getting familiar with the device and process it does speed up, I just needed to make sure I allocated enough time to do it all in one sitting so I didn't accidently do some areas more than others, which with two toddlers isn't always ideal. I would definitely recommend this product to others, it is a slow and steady process which will eventually produce results, obviously the process will vary based on hair colour, hair thickness and skin tone but I think it is worth it. I will give an updated review after using the product for 6 months.

This product is really working well and I have been using this for 4 weeks and i have noticed the difference from 2nd week.My skin feels so smooth and hair growing speed also reduced than before.This is really easy to use and all I had to do was read the instructions and that's all. When i used it for the first time i was lil bit of scared but it wasn't that bad at all.I think anyone can use it and i highly recommended this product to anyone.

I have to say I was a bit wary about trying the Braun Silk Expert 3 IPL at first. I was sceptical about what results could be achieved and a little worried that it would be uncomfortable to use, having never had treatment using this technology before. I was made to feel much more confident after reading the comprehensive, yet easy to follow, instruction booklet.
The device is very easy to use, having both a standard and gentle setting that you can switch between at the touch of a button. My only slight issue is getting sufficient contact with the skin on harder to reach areas. The backs of my legs and ankles in particular take a bit of negotiating! This is worth considering if you are less mobile/flexible, but could easily be remedied with the help of another person.
I was surprised not to feel any discomfort whilst using the device as I was expecting a stinging sensation. The only noticeable feeling was that of heat when using on the more delicate areas. I found the process to be quick and easy. I have been using the Silk Expert for approximately 6 weeks (on my legs, underarm and bikini line) and am seeing some good results. Whilst I still have hairs growing back, the hairs are fewer in quantity and take longer to grow. I am confident that with continued use I will see even more improvement.

This product has been brilliant! I've used for 4 weeks now and have noticed a huge different in hair growth. I had never used the IPL hair removal method before, I was a typically shaver. However I can totally see how this can transform lives. It isn't painful. It doesn't product horrible bumps like shaving can. It's genius! It's super easy to follow the instructions and it's great that the devise doesn't have any cables. I would definitely recommend this product!

I’m very pleased with the outcome of this after using it weekly for 6-7 weeks. I didn’t know what to expect at first as I’ve never used an IPL device before and was a little scared how it would feel on my skin. Luckily, it didn’t hurt at all! I used the IPL on one sid if my body to compare it with the other side and so impressed with the results. Hair isn’t growing back as quickly as it used to and when it does grow back, it’s very fine and not as thick as before. I would definitely recommend this product. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for hey!

I have been using Braun Silk-expert Pro 3 for over 6 weeks now and I’ve already started to see the results. I have been using it on my legs, my arms, underarms and bikini area consistently with the Braun app. Over the six weeks period, the changes in hair growth are quite noticeable, especially on my legs and arms. The hair on my legs and arms are thinner and they appeared significantly less while the bikini areas and underarms will need a few more weeks to see the result, as the hair are thicker. However, with these thicker areas, I have noticed a slower hair growth and patches where the hair has grown thinner and are eventually falling off. Before using the IPL pro, the areas need to be clean shaven, otherwise you might smell burning hair. The treatment is not painful at all but if you are using it for the first time, you might feel that it stings a little bit. However, with continuous use you get used to it, it becomes painless, effortless and undemanding. It far less time consuming to other hair removal methods and you can do it in the comfort of your own home, in your own time. To be fair, the benefits of IPL outweigh the cost. With the IPL, you don't need to pay for expensive and painful waxing treatment in the salon or spend a fortune on hair removal cream, blades or removal wax strips. The advantages of the IPL system is that it is very cost effective and not extremely time consuming process. You don’t have to worry about shaving your body every two days and hence, you don't get skin irritation, skin bumps and razor cuts. Your skin feels soft, smoother and hair free. You start noticing less ingrowing hairs and your confidence increases as your skin feels absolutely amazing. With summer fast approaching, the IPL pro is undoubtedly a must buy. With its ergonomic design, it's simple and easy to use. The IPL comes with a pouch, a disposable razor and two precision heads, one to use for larger areas while the other one is to use for bikini areas and underarms which are brilliant. The Braun app helps with reminding you when you're next session is and how many sessions that you have completed. I found it easier to do the whole areas on the same day. It easier to keep track. On the whole, I definitely recommend Braun IPL. Like mentioned above, the benefits outweigh the price. Its not only cost effective but it also boosts your confidence. Your skin feels amazing and you have more time to do things you love instead of worrying and spending a fortune on expensive hair removal treatment. This is done in the comfort and privacy of your home. After so long, I’m starting to love my legs again, so smooth and I’m feeling confident to wear my short this summer whereas before I would be wearing leggings mostly. At first I was terrified of using Braun Silk-expert Pro 3 PL3132 IPL because I kept thinking it would be painful but once I got up the courage to use it, it was absolutely fine. It doesn't hurt at all and the results are amazing! I'm one of those unfortunate women who tend to have hair that grows like wild fire and this has worked wonders. I was having to epilate my legs every week and even then there was stubble after a few days and I was epilating my face every day. The first week I epilated and used the Braun Silk-expert Pro 3 PL3132 IPL, 2 days later. The flash from the laser was really bright for me so I wear sunglasses so that I don't see flashes of light, this for me 8s the only thing I don't like about the Braun IPL. For the face and underarms the "light as a feather" feature works amazing well. You press the button and it reduces the strength of the laser so that it's more comfortable on your sensitive areas. The result was better than I expected, stubble started to appear later in the week on my legs. The only down side was I could smell a slight hair burning smell at times. On my face the hairs weren't as visible as they usually are the next morning. The following week I emulated and then used the IPL the next day, this time there was no burning smell and the results lasted longer, stubble appearing in most parts at the end of the week. After the third week I had slight tough patches of hair and my face I could go without epilating for a few days. Now I don't have to epilate and use the Braun IPL every week. I've gone to using it every 2 weeks with amazing results. I can't believe how well Braun Silk-expert Pro 3 PL3132 IPL works. I wish this was around when I was a teenager.

I am hugely impressed with the silk expert pro 3. Having never used an IPL method before I was unsure of how well and how easy it would work.
I found the instructions easy to follow and felt the process pretty painless and hassle free. I started to see results within a few weeks, which i wasn't expecting! So far I've only used it on my legs but I will definetely use it on other areas now I know it works so well.
Overall I would highly recommend the product.
