I was skeptical about this product at first and as a first time user for an IPL I was slightly anxious about this. Is it going to hurt? Am I going to hate the results? Will my respond badly? These were some of the questions in my head. But I went for it and all I can say is WOW I absolutely love this the results take a couple of weeks to notice but as someone who shaves every other day this product has been a god send. I love all the features of the product and I love the little extras you receive with this just shows that little bit more thought for customers. The only down fall i found is my hands are so small and even though the product is compact I did slightly struggle at first to get the nack of it but I got there and I do find it can be slightly pricey but it is worth it thankyou Braun for this amazing product 5 stars all round

Well I will start by saying this product is a game changer! After trying all sorts of treatments and hacks for years to no avail I was sceptical about ever finding something that actually works but here I am with my new best friend the braun ipl! I suffer with polycystic ovary syndrome and always had problems with excessive hair growth and I have dark thick hair which stands out more too which really knocks my confidence.
I have been using this product for 6 weeks and I am blown away with the results so far! My hair growth has dramatically slowed down and my skin is smooth, the braun ipl is so so easy to use and light weight, this product is really amazing and I would recommend it to everyone who is thinking about investing in one. I have been using silk expert pro 3 for 4 weeks and I have already noticed the results ! The hair is growing less and less , it's easy to use and painless , some part of my body were sensitive I had pain when using it on my armpits but overall it's a very good product very simple and easy to use , I have recommended it to all my friends !

I wasn't sure when I first started using this ipl, the first time I tried it I jumped a mile, I'd never used anything similar. After a few go's I was quite confident I started on gentle mode but on my second round I used the glide mode which really made it easier and quicker. It was really easy to set up the instructions are fool proof. There are two heads which make it easier to do different areas, like your face, armpits or bigger areas with the other head. I have used this for my armpits and my legs. I'll be honest I'm half Italian and have dark thick hair so it took some time for me to see a result but I am seeing them now and am amazed. The hair is definately taking its time to grow back and is much thinner which completely shocked me. I can't wait to carry on using this to see how well I can get it to work after months and months of use. Put it this way summer is going to be a good hair free one this year. Highly recommend Spending that bit extra if you want the results.

Its a very lightweight device
Easy to use (only really has two buttons, one for normal treatment and the other for more mild treatment).
Painless!
Versatile attachments. The wider one can be used on areas such as thighs and makes treatment very quick and the smaller one can be used for spot treatments in areas that require more attention such as armpits. After 6 treatments I can say that the product does work as the regrowth on my legs has begun to become sparse and the hair is more fine. The armpits suprised me the most as regrowth stopped after the first treatment. Woohoo! So it definitely does what it says on the tin! Negatives.
The flashing light that shows the treatment is working is just so bright! I have to do it in a different room to my husband as he says the light hurts his eyes.
After a couple of minutes of use the device does start to heat up making me paranoid that its going to burn my skin. Overall, I think its such a handy little device and definitely what I needed as part of my hair removal regime.

I have used Braun Silk Expert PTO 3 for the last six weeks. I had no previous experience with IPL hair removal treatment so didn't know what to expect. Normally I use just standard shaver because the epilator caused the hair ingrown. The idea of becoming hair free is my goal and would definitely build my confidence about my appearance. This product comes with a travel pouch, Venus shaver, mains cable with UK and EU plug and 2 treatments heads:
•Standard head which is ideal to treat large areas
•Precision head which been designed for small, hard to reach areas (face, bikini line, underarms, knees).
Instruction is very clear to follow and the app can be downloaded to phone for an easy way to keep a track of the treatments.
My first treatment was not the easiest one. I had a trouble to get the right skin contact in the beggining, no many flashes been released and I was missing big patches. It took me a while to get hang of it but learned how to keep the device in right angle.
Treating legs by gliding type of treatment was quick and effortless; treating bikini line, underarms or face is more time consuming as this has to be done by stamping method when the precision head is used - this has slower sequence of flashing comparing with standard head.
I have started notice the significant differences in hair grown in 4 weeks on my legs and bikini line. There is minimal change so far in my underarms and face area but the product is recommended to be used frequently for 12 weeks so I'm sure by this time I will be able to get the results I want.

I have been using this product now for a while and have really noticed a difference! I shave my legs now every one to two weeks and then use the Silk Expert pro 3, I have noticed my leg hair has drastically reduced and this makes me much more happier and excited for the summer! I love the fact this product is small and compact and really doesn't take up too much space, so easy to take on holiday!

As a working mother with 3 children, finding time for myself is rare,So I'm always on the look out for anything that makes taking care of myself easier and quicker. Especially the chore that is shaving. Epilators, hair removal and other shaving products scare me with the thought of the pain you have to endure for not much of a result. This did make me feel a bit apprehensive at first but I needn't have been! The Pro-3 was easy to set up, with 2 heads to pick from depending on the area you wanted to remove hair from. The instructions were clear and easy, with the added extra option of downloading the app to help you if your a bit stuck or need a bit more information on how to use the IPL. The main area that bothers me is my legs, so I've mainly been using it on them. It did take about 10 minutes on first set up to get the hang of, but once you get going it glides with ease and minimal effort. I'm now 6 weeks into using it and I'm noticing considerable changes already. Braun recommend 12 weeks of weekly use to see the full results but im already happy with the results I'm seeing. This has now turned into my go to product and a worth while investment!
