This product came well packaged with plenty of info on the box. On opening the box it's well packed inside . I've a lad in his late teens who has looked a right mess for a while as he 'can't be bothered' shaving. But he does like a gadget. So this has smartened him up no end. He reports a smooth shave with no rashes or cuts and he's able to do some pretty precise work around his sieburns. It's quiet, and its quick (he doesn't like to hang around on these things) but it doesn't leave him with hairy patches under the nose. It's chunky but fits his hand. I’ve tried the Braun Series 8 razor a few times now and have really noticed the difference. I was skeptical at first because I'm used to a wet shave razor. However after a few times shaving I was impressed. Once i got the hang of using an electric shaver it gave a fairly close shave. I was worried using an electric shaver in water but it works really well. It's easy to clean and the battery lasts ages. I've used it 6 times and battery is still full. Definately converted. while i was very impressed with the closeness of the shave, it does shave in a somewhat patchy way - after i used it on a one day beard it was so difficult to get a smooth shave without leaving any patches - this mean that when my beard grew, for the first few days it had patches of stubble that were a lot longer than others - i used it afterwards on a 3 day beard and it was easier to get a smooth consistent shave. however, it took 10 - 15 minutes and caused skin irritation due to pressure.

I can honestly say this is the closest shave I have had with an electric shaver , love the adjustable floating like head which also locks , very comfortable to hold and light weight, I used to use a 3 head rotating shaving but this one is much closer and doesn't cause skin irritation, love the fact that I can pop it on the charger and is charged in an hour , great to use wet or dry, this product is much better than expected. Day 1. Disaster. I soon learnt not to shave in the bathroom with the shower running even though the shaver is waterproof, I found the humidity was making my stubble hard to shave.Day 2. In the dry atmosphere of my bedroom I obtained a brilliant shave.Day 3. I won't return to disposables. It looks great and is perfectly balanced in your hand. The adjustable head makes shaving a dream. BUT it is a shame the charger doesn't fit in the case alongside the shaver (hence not a 5 star rating).

Wow just wow, the Braun Series 8 shaver has really added quality to the market. This shaver offers the best dry shave I have had yet. It's very easy to use, even with its vast abilities. When applied to the skin it's so gentle and leaves a nice clean finished shave. It just glides across the skin so effortless.
